Large container

Large containers are practical transport or storage containers in retail, production or even warehousing. They easily accommodate larger objects or large quantities of smaller products and store them safely.

Properties of large containers

Large containers are usually made of very durable and long-lasting materials, such as steel or plastics - for example polyethylene, HDPE or polystyrene. Large containers tend to be rather light in weight, yet are ideal for storing, transporting and working with a wide variety of materials in large quantities. They store and transport their contents safely and reliably. However, care should always be taken to load the multi-purpose containers only in accordance with the weight specifications so as not to jeopardise the durability of the container.

Large containers can also be equipped with stable feet or castors, which ensure a safe stand and reliable transport. Other accessories, such as lids, are also available for our large containers. This reliably protects the contents from external influences, for example during storage or transport through dusty areas or outdoor areas.

To save space, it is often possible to stack the large and multi-purpose containers inside or on top of each other when empty. Stacking filled containers on top of each other is also possible in some cases.

Large containers come in a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes. While one bin may only hold 80 litres, another can hold 1000 litres. Large containers as special containers

In addition to the classic large containers, there are also more special large containers, such as so-called pallet boxes. Pallet boxes are equipped with feet similar to skids. This means that they can be easily picked up by a forklift truck and transported safely and conveniently. There are also large containers with open ends to accommodate very long goods such as wooden or metal rods. Still other multi-purpose containers are even food-safe, i.e. foodstuffs can also be stored and temporarily stored in them without any problems. Other models are very temperature resistant and can easily cope with extreme temperatures of, for example, -40 to + 80 degrees.
