The synchronous mechanism provides support for the body - in any sitting position. Thanks to the individual tilt of the seat and backrest, harmonious movement sequences are supported while sitting. With the aid of the spring tension adjustment, the chair can be adapted to your individual sitting posture and also to a more dynamic sitting behaviour. Spring tension means that you can easily regulate the inclination of the backrest with your own body weight.

The chair has a 580 millimetre high backrest, a comparatively medium-height design. This is height-adjustable in a range of 80 millimetres, so you can adjust it exactly to your body size. Another highlight of the SSI Proline S1 is the air-permeable mesh back, which is beneficial for the seating climate.

Intervertebral disc problems are prevented by the pelvic support integrated into the ergonomic seat. Additional relief for the legs is provided by the knee roll in the seat, which counteracts blood congestion in the thighs.
